How will you make an impact

Your primary focus will be to deliver a comprehensive administrative support service to our SIPP, ISA & GIA clients across the full life-cycle utilising our WRAP Platform system. Here, you will support the governance framework in relation to Embark Group platforms whilst overseeing operational processes, ensuring the Embark Group and its subsidiary entities remain fully compliant with CASS; COBS rules and TCF principles. 

Responsible for processing and monitoring all client cash payments, including external payments as well as reconciliation of client money general ledger movements and client assets held on platform, together with all transnational movements.

You will have oversight of our third party suppliers to ensure our customers are confident Embark Group will continue to administer their investments correctly and with care and professionalism. 

You'll also bring an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving, be able to use own initiative, while also contributing to effective team working.  As we are committed to continuous improvement, you'll also be expected to actively look for opportunities to be more efficient and improve the service provision of the team. 

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • A strong understanding of the principles of reconciliations and escalation of exceptions
  • Experience of working within a financial control function or environment would be advantageous
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, developed in technically complex environments.
  • Proactive and inquisitive nature with the ability to innovate and challenge in support of the business model we are operating.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
