Team Leader - Pensions Administration

How will you make an impact

You will be the subject matter expert on Pensions and Drawdown, responsible for servicing a portfolio of SIPP accounts, covering the drawdown and investment elements, ensuring clients queries are processed within SLAs. You will help deliver against a vision for customer service excellence, whilst embedding new technology solutions and an optimised target operating model. Managing the setting up of new schemes, illustrations, technical support, calculations, reports, compliance, and benefits, whilst maintaining a high level of contact with clients.

Assimilating complex and detailed technical information to present in a clear and understandable manner, to a variety of audiences including internal and cross-divisional/external stakeholders. Aiding clients in diagnosing problems, assisting them to explore improvements and play a consultancy role in relation to Embark Group and supporting governance and operational capabilities.

You'll also mentor individuals in taking ownership for their career, identifying development opportunities, setting meaningful and inspiring personal objectives and cultivate a self-organising and continuous improvement culture.

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • Professional qualification desired: CF4/R04, Award in Financial Administration
  • A Customer Service leader with practical people management skills, with the ability to set challenging goals, drive high performance and nurture high performing teams
  • Experience in the pensions industry, especially Drawdown product features and regulatory rules
  • Experience of process transformation and supporting teams through change
  • Knowledge of HMRC processes, reporting and GAD
  • Understanding of working in a platform based environment would be useful.
