Senior Payroll and Accounts Administrator

How will you make an impact

You will support the Banking and Payroll Team responsible for administering and processing daily, monthly and ad hoc banking, payroll and RAS financial transactions for all products (SIPP, FPT & SSAS) and outsourcing contracts in accordance with standards and controls set down in procedures for member-directed pension schemes. You'll take personal responsibility for ensuring documents and transactions are verified correctly and in accordance with the verification process, highlighting breaches and errors to minimise risk.

Playing a pivotal role in delivering a high quality service to our internal stakeholders and clients, promoting our values and culture as well as knowledge sharing and coaching other members of the team. You'll also bring an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving, be able to use own initiative, while also contributing to effective team working.  As we are committed to continuous improvement, you'll also be expected to actively look for opportunities to be more efficient and improve the service provision of the team. 

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • Proven experience within a similar Banking or Payroll environment 
  • Strong numeracy skills, confident using Microsoft Packages, specifically Excel
  • An understanding of FCA regulations, HMRC and TPR regulations and legislative practices
  • A base knowledge of SSAS/SIPP/FPT would be useful as part of the role will be to assist with the different banking processes/requirements which apply to these products. Full training will be provided, however, an aptitude to understand these products would be very useful
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Professional and clear communicator with the ability to knowledge share and build strong relationships.
