Technical Specialist - Pensions

Our focus is on the medium and larger SME market, who already offer a range of benefits but are looking to re-energise  their approach, develop their offering and use exciting technology to create efficiencies and improve the communication of benefits to employees.

How will you make an impact

You will provide pension and general support services for our clients along with responsibility for a set portfolio of clients working with the client managers to manage new client engagement, run projects, produce communication packages, presentations and technical reports. A proactive, responsive, creative and structured approach is required to be successful in this role. 

This is a home-based role

What your day will look like

  • Be the key direct client contact for pension benefit services
  • Providing proactive support for ongoing client services and project-based work
  • Assist in preparing and drafting recommendation reports for GPPs, GSIPP & Master Trust Schemes
  • Maintain records on client databases (including Intelligent Office, Salesforce & SharePoint)
  • Support relationships with external suppliers and providers by maintaining ongoing relationships with key contacts to assist the business and clients

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • An understanding of Group Pensions (including GPP, GSIPP and Master Trust Schemes)
  • Proactive approach to client communication and experience of dealing directly with clients with the ability to manage client expectations in a confident and professional way
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing, including professional telephone manner
  • Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications
