Technical Specialist - Benefit Technology

Our focus is on the medium and larger SME market, who already offer a range of benefits but are looking to re-energise their approach, develop their offering and use exciting technology to create efficiencies and improve the communication of benefits to employees.

How will you make an impact

You provide and manage the benefit system support services for our clients. You will be responsible for managing client queries, in the form of web-based tickets, as well as assisting other team members with their client work. You will also work with client managers and the Technology team to help create and build benefit systems, produce system related communication packages, train our clients, and manage ongoing support of the benefits system. A proactive, responsive, creative and structured approach is required to be successful in this role. 

This is a home-based role 

What your day will look like

  • Assisting with creating benefit sites for clients, including branding adjustments and web page creation
  • Assisting with configuring benefit rules following a detailed specification
  • Providing proactive support for ongoing system services via the query ticketing system
  • Contributing to the team’s maintenance of records on Vested’s databases (including Intelligent Office)
  • Assisting with the client testing cycle for new site builds or benefits
  • Establishing relationships with external software suppliers and providers by maintaining ongoing relationships

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the desire to learn our technology to be able to quickly understand and resolve our client’s technical queries
  • Working with and manipulating data within a database
  • Proactive approach to client communication and experience of dealing directly with clients with the ability to manage client expectations in a confident and professional way
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing, including professional telephone manner
  • Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications
