How will you make an impact as a Senior Project Manager

You will be responsible for effectively manage all aspects of project management within multiple work streams including planning, monitoring, control, reporting and communication to achieve successful implementations, delivered to the required quality, time and budget. You will spend most of your time working on Business and IT Change projects.   

What your day will look like as a Senior Project Manager

  • Manage multi-disciplined Project Teams with budgets up to £500k including external contracts and suppliers
  • Define and establish program and project delivery roadmaps, structure and governance including planning for and managing change and risks
  • Interface and communicate with project team, management, stakeholders, partner and suppliers
  • Perform stage gate reviews and quality assurance reviews 
  • Support development of business cases with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Plan and support project QA testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and test results review activities with key personnel, project sponsors and stakeholders

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • Project and programme management in the UK Financial Services industry
  • Delivering IT, Business and application development projects typically lasting more than six months in duration
  • Managing projects with personal responsibility for delivering to time and cost
  • Recognised project management methodology qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and stakeholder management
