Programme Manager - 18 month FTC

How will you make an impact as a Programme Manager

You will establish strong relationships, both internal to the organisation and external counterparts, to successfully deliver programmes and projects in a fully collaborative way, you will be working across Technology, Business and IT Change and delivery of the programme road map across the Embark Group.

There will be requirement to effectively manage a team of Project managers to oversee the delivery of projects in accordance to the project methodologies and programme governance.

What your day will look like as a Programme Manager

  • Produce well-defined programme plans, sets the key workstreams/milestones and assigns project managers.
  • Ensure most efficient course for delivery by identifying and removing barriers to programme success.
  • Obtain sponsor and stakeholder buy-in for programme plans, commitments and changes.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of the change, to ensure business benefits are realised and that the transition from current state to target state is smooth. Ensuring that the organisation and other change audiences are ready, willing and able to function in the new business environment.
  • Work closely with delivery partners to shape the programme, ensuring there are clear goals, benefits, scope, governance and delivery structure with planning, design and estimating, bringing together delivery and business partner teams; actively managing dependencies between these teams and other projects and programmes.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen to develop and manage a detailed business case, including investments, detailed benefits and link to overall finances of the business.
  • Ensure programme and project teams follow Change and programme frameworks and methodologies.

Who you are and the experience we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in delivering significant platform & business change in an investment / wrap platform environment including digital projects and programmes that deliver a leading customer experience in an investment environment
  • Running a significant, multi-event, multi-book migration including setting up migration frameworks.
  • Leading the delivery of a target operating model; carrying out as-is analysis, analysing business capability & driving business readiness activity
  • Experience of leading testing across a diverse and complex portfolio of projects & programmes.  Leading design of testing capability and technical requirements.
  • Strong people management and leadership experience
  • Extensive implementation change management and benefits realisation experience
