Marketing Executive - Pensions

How will you make an impact as a Marketing Executive
As the Marketing Executive you will take part in developing, executing and managing Embark Pensions’ product and marketing strategy including relevant product marketing campaigns. In this role, you will protect and grow the brand, creating a differentiated and compelling positioning for an intermediate audience and the end client.
Your role will focus on creating and maintaining a range of collateral while actively supporting tactical and strategic campaigns to develop and market the Embark Pensions product range. You will need to build strong, collaborative working relationships with teams around the group.
You will play a pivotal part in supporting our Sales and Proposition teams demonstrable by delivery of market leading products, product enhancement and collateral. You will be enabled, and expected, to independently seek opportunities to develop and enhance the Embark Pensions brand and products, and will act as an ambassador for the business both internally and externally.
What your day will look like as a Marketing Executive
- Support the management of our large bank of marketing and product collateral ensuring all internal procedures, such as compliance, legal and marketing approvals, are followed.
- Identify ways to improve management of our literature and processes
- Ensure activity is measured against a clear set of KPIs
- Demonstrate the ability and creative skills to develop and protect the brand and its positioning, promise and values in relation to key customer groups
- Support digital marketing manager to manage web updates, social media marketing and a range of digital projects
- Provide support to Product Managers on key projects, for example collating and managing responses to information requests
- Ensure activity is measured against a clear set of KPIs
- Demonstrate the ability and creative skills to develop and protect the brand and its positioning, promise and values in relation to key customer groups
- Manage the communications between our organisation and the 'public' including but not limited to, customers, suppliers, employees, investors and journalists for the benefit of our reputation
- Be responsible for the delivery of marketing campaigns, supporting tactical and strategic sales and proposition launches/initiatives
- Analyse the effectiveness of campaigns and making recommendations for future activity and strategies
Who you are and the experience we’re looking for
- Experience within Financial Services or similar regulated business is an advantage
- A base knowledge of SIPP/SSAS would be useful as part of the role will be to support in the design and delivery of member and scheme communication activities. Full training will be provided, however, an aptitude to understand these products would be very useful
- Previous marketing experience including collateral production, campaign management, digital, events, advertising and PR
- Strong editorial and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Project management skills in planning, time management, record-keeping
- Good communicator, with initiative, able to work with minimal supervision once briefed
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to think creatively when resolving complex problems and identifying alternatives where established procedures may not exist
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Degree in Marketing or relevant subject; CII or Financial Services qualification preferred but not essential
What makes you stand out?
Knowledge of SSIP or Investment Platforms. An understanding of email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor and WordPress including, social media channels.
