How will you make an impact?
As an Executive, you will deliver exceptional service to SIPP, ISA & GIA clients across the full lifecycle using our WRAP Platform system. You will be expected to contribute to the development of both the control framework of the department and the development of more junior members of the team. The scope of the role covers the support and oversight of all WRAP Product administration functions and usage of the FNZ platform. Key to success will be your ability to take ownership of, and actively contribute to, aspects of the team's responsibilities, rather than solely relying on direction from the team leader, ensuring customer outcomes are considered within the confined of our regulatory responsibilities.
Within this role you will be required to support the governance framework around the Embark Investment Services Limited (EISL) platform and oversee operational processes carried out by both outsource suppliers of these platforms to ensure EISL remains fully compliant with CASS; COBS rules and TCF principles. You will have oversight of our third-party suppliers to ensure our customers (Clients and Advisors) can be confident EISL will continue to administer their investments correctly and with care and professionalism.
What your day will look like?
- Responsibility for providing exceptional service to all customers (advisers, clients, third parties and internal stakeholders)
- Responsibility for owning and managing all work by exception through to successful conclusion.
- Ownership of the customer outcome & relationship, and the solution delivery & problem resolution.
- Adherence to CASS rules.
- Supporting annual CASS audits.
- Escalating and reporting breaches and errors when appropriate.
- Ensuring company policy, procedures and regulatory guidelines and rules are adhered to at all times.
- Ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
- Committing to and demonstrating ongoing professional development to ensure the ability to deliver detailed support across:
- Good understanding of all current and future Platform products i.e. ISA, SIPP & GIA
- Regulatory understanding – specifically CASS rules, specifically chapters 6, 7, 8 & 10 in the FCA handbook
- Business proposition developments
- Platform functionality developments.
- Demonstrating outstanding work ethic and adaptability to achieve daily work task targets.
- Building effective team relationships.
- Challenging existing processes with a mind-set of continuous improvement
What will make you successful in role?
- Experience of risk management and process monitoring preferably with a focus on an investment platform environment.
- Exceptional client relationship skills developed in technically complex environments.
- Proven ability to work at pace in an environment of complexity and time based pressure, retaining high levels of accuracy and control throughout
- Experience in Financial Services administration, preferably in a client facing role, using WRAP Platform technology.
- Excellent knowledge of SIPP & ISA rules and regulations
- Strong Knowledge of CASS client money rules
- Proactive and inquisitive nature with the ability to innovate and challenge in support of the business model we are operating.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory regime that the Platform operates under.
- Skills in identifying exceptions to normal working outputs and the resolution of those exceptions.
- Proficiency in using MS Office
- Time management and prioritisation skills to plan and organise own work to deliver objectives.
- Relationship management and influencing skills both internally within the team and externally with 3rd party supplier
- Experience of risk management and process monitoring preferably with a focus on an investment platform environment.
What makes you stand out?
Further professional qualifications, such as Investment Operations Certificate, J11 would be preferable but not essential.
