Recruitment and Talent Manager

How will you make an impact
We are looking for a highly motivated specialist to join the HR team who can develop, lead and deliver our recruitment strategy. Following rapid growth and, now part of Lloyds Banking Group, Embark has no plans to stop. You will play a key role in building the vision of the Group, across multiple subsidiaries sitting in FinTech, and both regulated and non-regulated environments.
We are looking for someone to join us with passion to help establish a market leading approach as well as further develop our existing recruitment pipelines across the UK.

What your day may look like
- You will partner senior stakeholders and hiring managers in the business’s growth areas to own and develop market leading recruitment strategies.
- Attract high quality talent through commercial knowledge and excellence in candidate experience.
- Develop and lead recruitment pipelines and campaigns through reducing agency spend and establishing our brand in the markets we compete, working closely with Marketing and the business to creatively build awareness digitally and locally.
- Manage end to end recruitment as a hands-on recruiter, including sourcing, briefing, agreeing assessment strategy, candidate and offer management, with the support of the Recruitment Coordinator and our careers portal.
- Evolve and maintain relationships as required to ensure where we need to engage agencies, we work with those who best suit our brand and market needs and do so in a value for money way.
- Working with the broader HR Team and key stakeholders, you will establish internal recruitment opportunities that support the growth of our own talent.
- Lead campaigns as required, driving activity to attract volume across a range of sources.
- Build opportunities for entry-level programmes through relationships with universities and colleges.
- Centralise, establish and evolve our recruitment strategy through manager support and training.
- Standardise processes and look for constant ways to improve and keep pace with the market.
- Track and influence management information including service fulfilment, cost avoidance and time to hire, helping to drive strategy.
- Day to day management, coaching and mentoring of Recruitment Coordinator.
Who you are and the experience we’re looking for
- Financial Services recruitment experience is advantageous; experience in FinTech, pensions or investments will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of senior stakeholder management and recruitment business partnering
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail – do it well, first time
- A curiosity to keep learning and improving what we do, looking for positive opportunities for improvement in all we do
- Demonstrable team orientation and customer service focus.
- Experience in working autonomously

Where will you be working?
Our newly refurbished office, right in the heart of Dundee is a hub of creative collaboration. A place where everyone can bring their true selves to work and reach their full potential. Our Dundee HQ will support the community in more ways than one - by creating a wealth of new career opportunities and sponsoring a fleet of 400 rentable e-bikes, which you may have noticed docked throughout the City. A short walk from Dundee Station on the south of Union Street, it will be a key location for the Embark Group business that will deepen our ties with the city and its communities.
